It's raining, it's pouring

I guess we're not exactly well-outfitted for rainy weather. These pictures were taken almost two months ago during a kind of freak rainstorm that lasted all day here. Usually the rain comes and goes in an hour, but since we'd been inside all day, I let the kids out to do what kids do in the rain. Stuart is wearing last year's snow coat, and his pink ladybug rainboots handed down from cousins Maddie and Lauren, and the awesome grandma bird-motif umbrella, (because seriously it came from grandma and who else would use it but a grandma) adds just the right touch. What a fashionista he is turning into. Grace is doing a little better with the gnome outfit, also thanks to hand-me-downs from cousins. Most of her clothes are hand-me-downs, but we are never sure who they came from since her collection is a collaboration of at least four or maybe five older girl cousins. We are so lucky that at least she will always look good. Stuart on the other hand only has his engi-nerd Dad to look up to as his fashion icon, so he'll definitely have his work cut out for him. Though as engi-nerds go, Dave is on the more normal side of the spectrum. I'll take him. Pocket protector and all.

Hi Melissa!

Thanks for your comment on my stamp blog. Yes, I am a demo. Who knew that I would ever like stamping so much???

I remember reading your comment on Kristina's blog too, I never did get your email tho. I always wandered who's comment that was.

I asked Kurt if he remembers you, and he did. Ya, crazy that we got married, huh. We are doing better on the home front. My back is completely healed and through some sort of miracle, Kurt is on the mend too. He can force a half smile, and has a new wrinkle in his forhead, so that is good news.

So good to hear from you. I will have to keep tabs on you to see what new things you're up to.

You were lost to me but now you are found (on Aunt Liza's website...she is connected to your stamp site)! I have been reading your posts and I love them. You children could not be more gorgeous, I love your pictures, and your writing is hilarious (I liked the reference to the pink ladybug rainboots and the grandma umbrella).

Anyway, you are awesome. Whenever I think of you, I remember Honduras and the freedom we felt when we were around you. You were just so beautiful and ALIVE.

Thank you for living:). If it is okay, I would love to keep reading your fun takes on life.

Okay, I just realized that I was signed in as Andrew. The previous comment was from Cousin Candice...I think that I put my name, but I am not sure.

Anyway, I am still a big fan of Melissa and crew
